Monitoring and Reporting on Your Child’s Progress
Staff meet with parents and their child during the course of one day each term. There will be a record of the child’s progress during each term in the core subjects and, in addition, a record of the child’s behaviour for learning. The school will be clear about its role in supporting the child’s progress by setting’ next step’ learning targets for them, the child will agree which targets they will work on and the parents will agree on which part they will play.
Parents will be able to sign up for an appointment to meet with their child’s teacher each term to monitor their progress in learning. The final meeting will also be the report for the child. We would like to be able to email it to parents, if possible, following the consultation meeting to save costs to the school.
We would like to thank all the parents who came to the information evening. It was very heartening to see so many of you there and to receive such positive feedback. If you were unable to attend, please look at the forms and talk to a member of staff if you have any questions.
